The councilors briefly shared impressions of the candidate. Mr. Laue joined the meeting at 6:00 p.m. The council welcomed Madeline Hoffman and introduced themselves. The council asked Ms. Hoffman the same questions asked of the previous candidates for the Human Rights Commission. At the conclusion of the interview, Mr. Tollenaar thanked Ms. Hoffman and said that absent councilors would listen to tapes of the interview prior to the council making a final candidate selection on May 27.
