Ms. Taylor asked if the senior citizens using the center had expressed interest in participating in the program. Ms. Phelps said yes. Ms. Taylor said that the program seemed appropriate for the senior centers. Mr. Laue moved, seconded by Mr. Fart, to call the question. Roll call vote; the motion passed unanimously, 8:0, Roll call vote; the main motion passed unanimously, 8:0. Res. No. 4567--A resolution to receive State Revenue Sharing Funds pursuant to Section 221.770 of Oregon Revised Statutes. Mr. Fart moved, seconded by Mr. Tollenaar, to adopt the resolution. Roll call vote; the motion passed unanimously, 8:0. Mayor Torrey adjourned the meeting of the Eugene City Council and convened the meeting of the Urban Renewal Agency. VII. PUBLIC HEARING AND ACTION: URBAN RENEWAL AGENCY FY99 BUDGET Ms. Kittleson noted a single change to the Budget Committee's recommendation was the reduction in the payment to the City of Eugene for urban renewal administration. She noted that a supplemental budget hearing was tentatively scheduled for July 27 because staff was in the procss of reformating the downtown district budget. The current budget would be annotated to indicate the only new project in the district was the library, and the only project to complete was the Overpark elevator project. Mayor Torrey opened the public hearing. There being no requests to speak, Mayor Torrey closed the public hearing. Res. No. 994--A resolution of the Urban Renewal Agency of the City of Eugene adopting the budget and making appropriations for the Fiscal Year beginning July 1, 1998, and ending June 30, 1999. Mr. Fart moved, seconded by Mr. Tollenaar, to adopt the resolution. Roll call vote; the motion passed unanimously, 7:0.
