Mr. Lee requested that the period after the word "wrong" in sentence 1 of paragraph 1 on page 7 <br />of the minutes of the July 29, 1998, Lunch Work Session be removed. <br /> <br />Mayor Torrey determined there was no objection to the request and ordered the minutes to be <br />revised. <br /> <br />Mr. Meisner requested that paragraph 2 on page 2 of the minutes of the August 3, 1998, Dinner <br />Work Session be amended, as follows: <br /> <br /> Mr. Meisner requested that the final report of the survey include identification of <br /> the responses of participants by categories~, specifically identifying the <br /> responses of those within the portion of Glenwood already annexed to <br /> Eugene. <br /> <br />Mayor Torrey determined there was no objection to the request and ordered the minutes to be <br />revised. <br /> <br />Mr. Tollenaar requested that sentence 2 of paragraph 5 on page 3 of the minutes of the August <br />3, 1998, Dinner Work Session be amended, as follows: <br /> <br /> Mr. Tollenaar replied that the question of Ms. Taylor had not been fully considered <br /> by the committee, but that if objections were r~ised to the shift in ~nne×~tion <br /> required ~ ...... ~ ~ + .... ~ ...... + ..... '~ ~ ...... ~"~ He said, however, that a <br /> vote would be required on the transfer to Springfield of territo~ already <br /> annexed to Eugene, if objections to the transfer were raised by either city <br /> council or by ten percent of the electors residing in that territo~. <br /> <br />Mayor Torrey determined there was no objection to the request and ordered the minutes to be <br />revised. <br /> <br />Ms Nathanson expressed appreciation for the timely presentation to the council of minutes of <br />meetings. She explained that requested changes in the minutes were to ensure that the <br />legislative history of council actions was accurately recorded. <br /> <br /> The motion to approve the Consent Calendar was adopted unanimously, 8:0. <br /> <br />MINUTES--Eugene City Council September 14, 1998 Page 5 <br />7:30 p.m. <br /> <br /> <br />
