E. The City of Eugene is willing to accept the action of the <br />Lane County Board of Commissioners of transferring additional right <br />of way in Roosevelt Boulevard and eliminating a portion of the <br />Chambers Connector <br />NoW, THEREFORE, <br />THE CITY of EUGENE DOES ORDAIN AS FoLL4W3: <br />Section 1. Based upon the above findings, which are hereby <br />adopted, the City Council of the City of Eugene accepts the <br />transfer of jurisdiction over the Chambers Connector and exit ramps <br />by Lane County as set forth in Exhibit A to Final Order No. 91-5-- <br />1-18, a copy of which is attached as Exhibit A hereto, and <br />incorporated herein by reference, and specifically acknowledges <br />that jurisdiction is accepted over the additional Roosevelt <br />Boulevard right-of-way, but is not asserted over the approximately <br />400' of the Chambers Connector described in Exhibit A to City of <br />Eugene Ordinance No. 19738 which is not included in Exhibit A <br />hereto. <br />Seotion 2. The City of Eugene shall have the same control, <br />power and jurisdiction ever the portion of the Chambers Connector <br />and exit ramps so transferred as it has over all other streets and <br />alleys within the City. <br />Section 3. The City Council directs that a copy of this <br />Ordinance accepting jurisdiction of the portion of the Chambers <br />Connector and exit ramps being transferred to the City be forwarded <br />to the Lane County Board of Commissioners. <br />Section 4. That the matters captained herein concern the <br />public welfare and safety and therefore, an emergency is hereby <br />Ordinance - 2 <br />
