Breeding or <br />raising wildlife for sale or trade, or the sale or trade of ani- <br />mal products i s not permitted. <br />~ b} Al 1 wi 1 dl i f e that are outside, whether i n cages or not, <br />must be kept within an area that i s bounded by a s i te-obscuring <br />fence, Enclosures must be designed and constructed in a manner <br />that i s sturdy enough to prevent escape and access to their i nter- <br />iors by unauthorized people. <br />~c} All cages and wildlife facilities are subject to inspec- <br />tion by the Oregon Department of Fish & Wildlife and federal <br />agencies as required. <br />~d} Proper sanitation must be maintained at all times. Pro- <br />per sanitation includes: <br />1. Not allowing wildlife waste to adversely affect the <br />health of the wi 1 dl i fe itself, property residents, or neigh- <br />bors. <br />2. Taking necessary steps to ensure odors are not de- <br />tectable beyond praperty lines. <br />3. Storing all wildlife food i n rodent and pest resi s- <br />tant containers . <br />fie} All wildlife must be naturally occurring i n Oregon . <br />~f} Bears and cougars are prohibited. <br />. fig} At least one person licensed by the state of Oregon as <br />a w~ l d1 ~ fe rehabi 1 ~ tator or conducting wi 1 dl i fe rehabi 1 i tati on <br />under the supervision of a licensed rehabilitator must occupy the <br />property. <br />~h} If the property is rezoned to something other than AG, <br />RA, or R-1, the use must be discontinued within two years. <br />~ i } Wi 1 dl i fe restored to a condi ti on whereby i t can be re- <br />l eased and survive under natural conditions must be removed from <br />the property. Wildlife that cannot be restored to a condi ti on <br />whereby i t can be expected to survive under natural conditions may <br />be retained for off -site wi 1 d1 i fe education, or to assist i n the <br />rehabi 1 i tati on of other animals, provided required state and fed- <br />eral licenses and permits are obtained. <br />~j} Also see Animal Regulations in chapter 4 and Nuisance <br />regulations in chapter fi of this code. <br />Section 4.
