ORDINANCE NO. 1 `1~~ AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR RAWAL OF TERRITORIES PADDOCK MASONRY, EC EU 92- 05; EASTMAN, EC EU 92.11; PRONDZINSKI, EC EU 92.17, HAMMOND EC EU 92.16; MERRITT TRUAXII'RIDE, C EU 92-9; EUGENE MISSION EC EU 92-7; AND SINGER, EC EU 92-5} FROM THE RIVER ROAD WATER DISTRICT AND RIVER ROAD PARK AND RECREATION DISTRICT. The City Council of the City of Eugene by Resolution No, 4334 adopted June 22, 1992, proposed withdrawal from the River Road Water District and River Road Parks & Recreation District the parts of the Districts annexed to the Ci on February 2S, 1992 by Notice dated March 16, 1992 of the Lane County Local Government Boundary Commission; on April 13, 1992 by Notice dated A ri,l 24, P 1992 of the Lane County Local Government Boundary Commission; on May 18,1992 by Notice dated June 2, 1992 of the Lane Coun Local Government Bounds ~ ry Commission; on May 11, 1992 by Notice dated June 2, 1992 of the Lane Coun tY Local Government Boundary Commission; on May 18, 1992 by Final Grder No, 9S2 of the Lane County Local Government Boundary Commission; on May 20, 1992 b . Y Notices dated May ll, 1992 and April 10, 1992 of the Lane County Local Government Boundary Commission, all as hereinafter more particularly described. The Resolution set July 27, 1992, at 7;30 P.M., Pacific Time, in the Council Chambers, City Hall, in Eugene, Gregon, as the time and place for hearin . g objections to the withdrawals, and directed that notice of the time and place of the hearing be published once each week for two consecutive weeks prior to the hearin g and be posted ~n four public places ~n the City for the same period. The Notice has been so published in the Register Guard and posted in four public places in the City of Eugene, oregon. The City is willing to assume the liabilities and indebtedness previousl y contracted by the Districts proportionate to the parts of the D~stncts that have been annexed to the City upon the effective date of the withdrawals, The withdrawals of the annexed territories from the Districts is consistent with the fundamental principles and a licable olicies of the Eu ene-S rin 'eld PP P g p gfi Metropolitan Area General Plan, and other adopted City policies, and it is in the best interest of the City that the territories be withdrawn.
