6, Notice was provided to the Land Conservation and Development Com- <br />mission on April I, I992 concerning the proposed Metropolitan Area General <br />P1 an text amendments. <br />1. Priority Two implementation strategies are subject to available <br />funding and, in some cases, further analysis or processing of related plans <br />or studies. They include courses of action intended to enhance the communi- <br />ty's industrial land inventory as appropriate when consistent with related <br />plans and studies. <br />S. The proposed government-initiated Metropolitan Area General P1 an <br />text amendments are consistent with relevant Statewide Planning Goals and <br />applicable pv1 i ci es i n the Metropolitan Area General Plan as shown i n the <br />Findings set forth in Exhibit C, attached hereto and incorporated herein by <br />reference. <br />Now, THEREFORE <br />THE CITY OF EUGENE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section I. The findings set forth above and the findings contained in <br />Exhibit C attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference are adopted. <br />Section 2. The Metropolitan Industrial Lands Special Study Inventory <br />and Policy Recommendations reports, attached hereto as Exhibit A, Parts I <br />through 4, and incorporated herein by reference, are approved. <br />Section 3. The text amendments to the Metropolitan Area General Plan as <br />set forth in Exhibit B attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, <br />are adopted. <br />Section 4. Approval of the Metropolitan Industrial Lands Special Study <br />Inventory and Policy Recommendations reports, including text amendments to <br />the Metropolitan Area General Plan, shall become effective only if they also <br />are approved by Lane County and the City of Springfield, <br />Section 5. If any section, subsection, sentence, clause, phrase, or <br />portion of this Ordinance is for any reason held invalid or unconstitutional <br />by any court of competent jurisdiction, that portion shall be deemed a sepa- <br />rate, distinct, and independent provision and that holding shall not affect <br />the validity of the remaining portions of this Ordinance. <br />Passed by the City Council this <br />day of 1992 <br />G•.~ ~~ <br />City Recor er <br />Approved by the Mayor this <br />~7 day of s 1992 <br />,,r <br />yor <br />Ordinance - 2 <br />
