The City is willing to assume the liabilities and indebtedness previously contracted by the Districts proportionate to the parts of the Districts that have been annexed to the City upon the effective date of the withdrawals. The withdrawals of the annexed territories from the Districts is consistent with the fundamental principles and applicable policies of the Eugene-Springfield Metropolitan Area General Plan, and other adopted City policies, and it is in the best interest of the City that the territories be withdrawn. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY GF EUGENE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. The territory in Lane County, Dregon, annexed to the City of Eugene on June 1,1992 by Notice of the Lane County Local Government Boundary Commission dated June 22, 1992, as bounded and described as follows: Parcel 2217, Assessor's Map 17-04-14 2 2, located in the central part of the River Road area of north Eugene on the west side of Delta Street, south of Beltline Road, north of Bushnell Lane, east of the Northwest Expressway and west of Labona Drive, and more particularly described on Exhibit A attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference. Evan Meter, EC EU 92-22}, is hereby withdrawn from the River Raad Water District and River Raad Parks &. Recreation District, effective July 1, 1993. Section 2. The territory in Lane County, Gregon, annexed to the City of Eugene on Juiy 6,1992 by Notice of the Lane County Local Government Boundary Commission dated August 3, 1992, as bounded and described as follows: Tax Lots 4600 and 4701, Assessor's Map 1744-24 2 2, located in the River Road area of North Eugene, on the north side of Horn Lane, south of Benjamin Lane, west of River Raad, east of Anderson Lane, and west of Melvina Way, and more particularly described on Exhibit B attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference.
