in one of the sites designated under Section 2 of this Ordinance, provided that the person <br />complies with any rules adopted under Section 2, No person may camp within the Alton <br />Baker parking area except in one of the sites, and only if assigned the site pursuant to the <br />rules to be adopted by the City Manager. Violation of this ordinance or the rules adapted <br />hereunder shall be deemed a violation of EC 4.515~3~, punishable under EC Section 4.995. <br />Section 4. The authority granted under this ordinance shall terminate as of 12:00 <br />noon on May 31,1994. No person shall camp at any of the designated sites after that time. <br />Section 5. This ordinance automatically shall be repealed as of June 1, 1994. <br />Section 6. That the matters contained herein concern the public health, welfare and <br />safety and therefore, an emergency is hereby declared to exist, and this ordinance shall <br />become effective immediately upon its passage by the City Council and approval by the <br />Mayor, retention by the Mayor for more than ten days, or readoption over a mayoral veto <br />by two-thirds of all members of the City Council. <br />Passed by the City Council this <br />22nd day of November, 1993 <br />%~~'' ' v <br />City Recor er <br />Approved by the Mayor this <br />22nd day of November, 1993 <br />Mayor <br />ordinance - 2 <br />
