There wi 11 be adequate provision for bus stops, bus <br />shelters, ar other transit facilities. <br />Section 34. Subsection ~a~ of Section 9.702 of the Eugene Code, 1971, is <br />amended to provide: <br />9.702 General Conditional Use Permit Criteria. A conditional use permit <br />may be granted only i f the proposal conforms to all the fol l awi ng <br />criteria. Additional criteria may also be required depending on the <br />appl i cabi 1 i ty of other sections of this code, <br />~ a ~ The l ocat i an, size, design, and operating <br />characteristics of the proposed development will be made reasonably <br />compatible with and have minimal impact On the l i vabi 1 i ty or <br />appropriate development of abutting properties and the surrounding <br />neighborhood, with cans i derati on given to harmony, scale, bulk, <br />coverage, and density; to availability of public facilities and <br />utilities, including transit-related facilities; to traffic <br />generation and the capacity and safety of surrounding streets and <br />alleys; and to other relative impacts of the development. <br />Section 34. The City Recorder, at the request of, or with the concurrence <br />of the City Attorney, is authorized to administratively correct any reference <br />errors contained herein or i n other provisions of the Eugene Code, 1971, to the <br />provisions added, amended or repealed herein. <br />Section 35. Notwithstanding the effective date of this Ord i Hance by <br />operation of the Eugene Code, 1971 and City Charter, in accordance with the <br />provisions of Section 39 of the Eugene Charter of 1976, Sections 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 <br />and 6 of this ordinance shall become effective six ~fi~ months from the date this <br />Ordinance is adopted by the Council, providing it is approved by an affirmative <br />vote Of six members of the Council , and shat 1 not apply to an improvement <br />authorized by Counci 1 Resol uti an forming the 1 oval improvement district pri ~r to <br />Ordinance - 36 <br />
