<br />Government Boundary Commission dated October 6, 1994; on November 14, 1994 <br />by Notice of the Lane County Local Government Boundary Commission dated <br />December 8, 1994; on November 21, 1994 by Final Order No. 1004 of the Lane <br />County Local Government Boundary Commission dated October 6, 1994; on January <br />17,1995 by Final Order No. 1009 by the Lane County Local Government Boundary <br />Commission dated January 18, 1995; and on January 17, 1995 by Final Order No. <br />1010 of the Lane County Local Government Boundary Commission dated January <br />18, 1995; <br /> <br />( c) Withdrawal from the Glenwood Water District and the Willamalane Park <br />and Recreation District the parts of the Districts annexed to the city on November <br />9, 1994 by Notice of the Lane County Local Government Boundary Commission <br />dated October 5, 1994; <br /> <br />(d) Withdrawal from the Willamalane Park and Recreation District the parts <br />of the District annexed to the city on January 9, 1995 by Notice of the Lane County <br />Local Government Boundary Commission dated January 10, 1995; <br /> <br />(e) Withdrawal from the Junction City Water Control District the parts of the <br />District annexed to the city on January 18, 1994 by Final Order No. 991 of the Lane <br />County Local Government Boundary Commission dated December 2, 1993, <br /> <br />all as hereinafter more particularly described. <br /> <br />The Resolution set February 22, 1995, at 7:30 ~M., Pacific Time, in the Council <br />Chambers, City Hall, in Eugene, Oregon, as the time and place for hearing objections to the <br />withdrawals, and directed that notice of the time and place of the hearing be published once <br />each week for two consecutive weeks prior to the hearing and be posted in four public <br />places in the City for the same period. <br /> <br />The Notice has been so published in the Register Guard and posted in four public <br />places in the City of Eugene, Oregon. <br /> <br />The City is willing to assume the liabilities and indebtedness previously contracted by <br />the Districts proportionate to the parts of the Districts that have been annexed to the City <br />upon the effective date of the withdrawals. <br /> <br />The withdrawals .of the annexed territories from the Districts is consistent with the <br />fundamental principles and applicable policies of the Eugene-Springfield Metropolitan Area <br />General Plan, and other adopted City policies, and it is in the best interest of the City that <br />the territories be withdrawn. <br /> <br />NO~ THEREFORE, <br /> <br />Ordinance - 2 <br />
