Runoff from impervious areas used for repair, <br />c1 eani ng~, refueling or servicing of vehicles or machinery <br />shal 1 be treated on site to remove of 1, grease and other <br />chemicals . <br />3 . New deve1 opment shal 1 ut i 1 i ze measures to 1 i mi t <br />post-construction runoff rate, timing and volume to pre- <br />development levels to the maximum extent practical. These <br />measures may include on-site detention or retention ponds, <br />i of i 1 trot i on areas or other approved measures . <br />4. Porous paving treatments shall be used where <br />practical. As used here, the term "porous paving" refers to <br />recognized systems utilizing paving blocks ~e.g., <br />"grasscrete"}.~ For the purposes of this provision, gravel <br />surfaces are not acceptable. <br />fie} Impervious surfaces. <br />Impervi aus surfaces are prohibited un1 ess they are <br />part.af a permitted use or approved conditional use. <br />2. Impervious surfaces that are necessary for <br />permitted uses or approved conditional uses must be no larger <br />than the minimum necessary for the proposed use and must be <br />1 ocated as far from wetlands and water features as practical . <br />~f} Construction ractices. <br />1. Within the NR district and wetland buffer areas, <br />construction or other use of heavy machinery is prohibited as <br />described below. Heavy machinery i s defined as mvtvri zed or <br />mechanized machinery or equipment capable of deliberately or <br />inadvertently damaging vegetation, compacting soil, moving <br />earth ar causing excessive noise or heavy vibrations through <br />its use. Use of heavy machinery is prohibited: <br />a. Between February 20 and June 30 within 3oa <br />feet of any significant waterfowl nesting areas <br />identified i n adopted p1 ans or policies or by the Oregon <br />Department of Fish and Wildlife. <br />b. Between May 1 and August 30 within 300 feet <br />of any significant shorebird and wading bird nesting <br />areas identified in adopted plans or policies or by the <br />Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife. <br />2.
