NaTICE OF CITY ELECTION <br />CITY OF EUGENE <br />NGTICE is hereby given that a City election will be held in the City of Eugene, <br />aregon, on Tuesday, the 19th day of September, 1995, to be conducted by the Lane County <br />Election Department in accordance with the provisions of Chapter 254 of ~regan Revised <br />Statutes. This election is called for the purpose of voting on the following Measure of the <br />City of Eugene: <br />Measure ,,,~,~: TITLE; "EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICES <br />AND FIRE STATION CGNSTRUCTIGN" <br />uestion: Shall City issue $19,141,410.110 general <br />obligation bonds to construct and equip <br />new emergency medical serviceslfire <br />facilities? If the bonds are approved, they <br />will be payable from taxes on property or <br />property ownership that are not subject to <br />the limits of section llb, Article XI of the <br />Dregon Constitution. <br />Ex lanation; If approved by the voters, this measure <br />will authorize the City to issue up to <br />$19,141,410.00 of general obligation bonds. <br />The funds would be used to construct and <br />equip (1} an EM51Fire Station at 2nd and <br />Chambers including, but not limited to, <br />facilities for training of public safety <br />personnel and equipment storage and <br />maintenance}, and ~2) an EMS1Fire <br />Station at Coburg and Willakenzie Road <br />including an emergency operations <br />center. <br />Notice -Exhibit 2 <br />
