At the applicant's request, and as authorized under EC <br />9.718, the deadline for commencement of actual construction or <br />alteration is extended to December 31, 1996. <br />7. Prier to vacation of the north/south alley, the sanitary <br />sewer in the alley shall be relocated or accommodated in its <br />present location, whichever is satisfactory to the City Engineer, <br />8. Prior to vacation of the east/west alley, the storm sewer <br />in the alley shall be abandoned or accommodated in its current <br />location, whichever is satisfactory to the City Engineer. <br />B. xo~sE <br />Conditions B~2~ and B~3~ of the existing conditional use permit <br />shall be replaced by the fallowing three conditions: <br />1. The station will include a barrier wall or buildings to <br />be located on the north side of 11th Avenue, east from Olive <br />Street. The barrier will be at least 20 feet high and 95 feet <br />long, <br />2. Air cooling units, similar to the prototype that was <br />installed in Room 422 of Olive Plaza, will be installed in 39 <br />additional rooms at Olive Plaza. The roams will be selected by <br />olive Plaza as those most impacted by the station. A one-time <br />payment of $3,000.00 will be made to Olive Plaza to caner the <br />increased operating and maintenance costs associated with the air <br />cooling units. <br />3 . Air conditioning will be installed in the office areas and <br />common areas on the ground floor of Olive Plaza, at a cost not to <br />exceed $20,000.00. <br />C. VISUAL IMPACTS <br />1. Except as permitted in subsection 2 below, outdoor <br />lighting in and around the station shall consist of pedestrian <br />scaled pole-mounted fixtures compatible with thane now in use vn <br />the Broadway Mall and, in front of the Eugene Electric Station. <br />7.
