II

Acknowledgements

I

I would like to thank the many people who contributed to the successful completion of the work
of the Public Safety Task Force. Lane County public safety staff spent many hours preparing
materials for the Task Force for this three month effort. Deadlines were often short, but the staff
responded very well and with good humor.

Task Force members also spent many hours on this project. They read the large amount of data
and material furnished by staff and quickly became experts on the county's public safety system.
My job was much easier because of their dedication and hard work.

0~

Jim Johnson
Consultant and Facilitator
October, 2005

Executive Summary - Lane County Public Safety Task Force Final Report

3
