Bicycle and pedestrian access to the site is provided via a 10'-wide paved sidewalk paralleling Centennial Boulevard. Bikeways Maps published by the City of Eugene Bikeways Program classifies the existing sidewalk along Centennial as a "VLlidened Sidewalk" which is "specifically designed for bicycles and pedestrians." These facilities adequately provide safe, convenient and economical transportation alternatives to and from the property. The amendment will not affect compliance with policies or projects contained in the Metropolitan Area Transportation Plan ~TransPlan}, a functional refinement to the Metro Plan, acknowledged as complying with the requirements of Goal 12 and will not affect Metro Plan compliance with Goal 1 Z, Goal 13 Energy Conservation: To conserve energy.
