Streets, new curbs, gutters, and sidewalks, including curb <br />extensions into on-street parking areas; <br />b. Utility systems, bike paths, public plazas, rest rooms, li- <br />brar~es, and recreational facilities; <br />c. Trees, shrubs, flowering plants, ground covers, and other plant <br />materials including irrigation systems, soil preparation and/or -~ <br />containers to support same; <br />d. Street furniture including but not limited to tables, benches <br />kiosks, telephone booths, ~ dri nki ng fountains, decorative fours <br />tains, street lights, and traffic control devices; <br />e. Special graphics, signs, or directories for informational pur- <br />poses; <br />f. A11,public utilities and transportation systems affectin the <br />g <br />project area; <br />g. New parking facilities, improvements to existing facilities and <br />mass transit stations. <br />B. ACQUISITION AND REDEVELOPMENT <br />1. Intent.
