LOWE Allen 0

From:
Sent:
To:

Kevin and Becky Witt [wittkb@comcast.net]
Wednesday, November 09,200512:14 AM
LOWE Allen 0

Subject: Land Use Code & Zoning Map Amendments

Dear City Council,

I support the Land Use Code and Zoning Map Amendments, File Numbers CA 04-5 and Z 05-14. I encourage
you to adopt the proposed standards. t believe they are essential in the preservation of neighborhood quality,
keeping Eugene "close-in." I have grown up here and consider Eugene an ideal place to live. To me, it offers
most of the conveniences of a major metropolis, but the feel of a small town. I lived in Portland for a couple of
years while going to school. The biggest difference I noticed is the "close-in" feel of Eugene. Here, I don't need
to fight traffic on the 205, 405, or 84 to reach different areas of town. I am employed as a dental hygienist. In my
conversations with various people, I have met many that give the same reasons for either moving here or not
moving away. I am very happy that these standards are being considered and hope that they are accepted.
Thank you for your time and consideration.

Rebecca Witt
2061 Nirvana Street
Eugene, OR 97401

11/9/2005
