ORDINANCE No. 19664 <br />AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR WITHDRAWAL FROM <br />THE RIPER ROAD STATER DISTRICT AND RIVER <br />ROAD PARK AND RECREATION DISTRICT, THAT <br />PART OF THE DISTRICTS ANNEXED TO THE CITY <br />OF EUGENE BY THE LANE COUNTY LOCAL <br />GOVERNMENT BOUNDARY COMMISSION ON <br />SEPTEMBER 25~ 1989 ~MARSHALL~ EC EU 89- <br />19~. <br />The City Council of the City of Eugene by Resolution <br />No. 4163 adopted January 22, 1990, proposed withdrawal from <br />the River Road Water District and the River Road Park and <br />Recreation District that part of the Districts annexed to the <br />City on September 25, 1989 by Final order No. 915 of the Lane <br />County Local Government Boundary Commission, as hereinafter <br />described. <br />The Resolution set February 12, 1990, at 7:30 p.m., <br />Pacific Time, in the Council Chambers, City Hall, in Eugene, <br />Oregon, as the time and place for hearing objections to the <br />withdrawal, and directed that notice of the time and place of <br />the hearing be published once each week for two consecutive <br />weeks prior to the hearing and be posted in four public places <br />in the City for the same period. <br />The Notice has been so published in the Register Guard <br />and posted in four public places in the City of Eugene, <br />Oregon. <br />The City is willing to assume the liabilities and <br />indebtednesses previously contracted by the Districts <br />proportionate tv the part of the Districts that have been <br />annexed to the City upon the effective date of the withdrawal. <br />Ordinance ~ 1 <br />
