ORDINANCE HO. l~ 7~ <br />AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR ~IITHDRAWAL FROM <br />THE RIVER ROAD HATER DISTRICT AND RIVER <br />ROAD PARK AND RECREATION DISTRICT, THAT <br />PART OF THE DISTRICTS ANNEXED T4 THE CITY <br />of EUGENE BY THE LANE COUNTY LOCAL <br />GOVERNMENT BOUNDARY COMMISSION ON MAY 16, <br />1990 ~TUSKI, EC EU 90-09j. <br />The City Council of the City of Eugene by Resolution <br />No. 4183 adopted June 11, 1990, proposed withdrawal from the <br />River Road Water District and the River Road Park and <br />Recreation District that part of the Districts annexed to the <br />City on May 16, 1990 by Notice of the Lane County Local <br />Government Boundary Commission, as hereinafter described. <br />The Resolution set July 9, 1990, at 7:30 p.m., Pacific <br />Time, in the Council Chambers, City Hall, in Eugene, Oregon, <br />as the time and place for hearing objections to the <br />withdrawal, and directed that notice of the time and place of <br />the hearing be published once each week for two consecutive <br />weeks prior to the hearing and be posted in four public places <br />in the City for the same period. <br />The Notice has been so published in the Register Guard <br />and posted in four public places in the City of Eugene, <br />Oregon. <br />The City is willing to assume the liabilities and <br />indebtednesses previously contracted by the Districts <br />proportionate to the part of the Districts that have been <br />annexed to the City upon the effective date of the withdrawal. <br />The withdrawal of the annexed territory from the <br />ordinance - 1 <br />
