At the end of the .session, <br />the group polled the group members an which concepts were to be eliminated or studied <br />further by the Downtown Design Committee. The group's evaluation comments and scares <br />were recorded by participating Downtown Design Committee facilitators, and summarized <br />by the consultant into tabular form for review. <br />The participants also completed a survey at the end of the session that asked the reasons <br />for their participation in the forum, their opinions concernin the conduct and usefulness <br />of the ' ' • • g <br />session, and their characteristics concernrngtheir interests and use of the <br />downtown. <br />The information developed from the second design forum and the exhibited conce is were <br />P <br />reviewed, discussed, modified, redefined, and eventually narrowed rn sco a tv the <br />P <br />Committee's satisfaction following a number of detailed workshops involvin the <br />g <br />Committee, city staff and consultant. <br />The consultant used the. results of the Committee's work sessions to com lete the <br />streetsca a furnishin fin P <br />p gs, al street configurations, and the plaza and Park Block linkage <br />concepts shown 'in the recommended design proposals. <br />Re inter Guard Surrre <br />4n the 3rd and 6th of January 199, a special-notice was published on the Committee's <br />behalf in the Eugene Register Guard news a er.
