Above Ground Stara a of Class 1 and Class 2 <br />Li uids in Areas Other Than Those Zoned I-1 I-2 and I-3. <br />~a} Notwithstanding any other provision, if storage of <br />Class 1 and C1 ass 2 liquids is otherwise permitted in areas zoned <br />other than I -1, I -2, and I -3, no such storage wi 11 be a] 1 owed <br />unless such storage is placed in afire containment structure and <br />a permit has been issued by the chief, An applicant far a permit <br />must submit a plan far the above ground storage facility and any <br />other information the chief may require. The proposed storage <br />facility must be: <br />1. Located at least 30 feet from other structures and <br />property lines; <br />2. Located at least 15 feet from the point that the sub- <br />stance will be disbursed; <br />3. Placed in a structure having the following character- <br />istics: <br />A. Made of reinforced concrete at least six inches <br />thick, with the only opening for inspection being through <br />the top, <br />B. wal 1 s must be one foot higher than the highest <br />point on the tank, <br />C. The structure should be marked "No Smoking" in <br />red letters at least six inches high on a white back- <br />ground X1/4 inch stroke}, <br />D. The building shall have NFPA Standard l04 labels <br />on at least four exterior sides of the building. <br />fib} No more than 6,OO0 gallons shall be stored in any single <br />structure and no more than 18,000 gallons shall be stored on any <br />one piece of property. <br />Section.3. Section 8.205 of the Eugene Code, I91I, is renumbered to <br />Section 8.105. <br />Section 4. The City Recorder, at the request of; or with the concurrence <br />of the City Attorney, i s authorized to administratively correct any reference <br />errors contained herein, or in other provisions of the Eugene Code, I911, to <br />the provisions added, amended, or repealed herein. <br />Section 5.
