Examples of chemi- <br />cal s which have been found to cause such effects are included i n <br />29 CFR 1910.1200 and listed in Appendix vI-A of this code. <br />Target organ, ,t,oxin is a chemical that produces damage target <br />organ effects} to specific body organs or systems. <br />X23} Section 10.302 of the Uniform Fire Cade is amended by adding <br />a new subparagraph ~d} thereto, to read: <br />~d} Testin . Sprinkler systems shall be tested annually. <br />Testing shall include a full flaw test and drainage of the entire <br />system. A certificate showing that the test and all ather require- <br />ments have been met shall be submitted to the chief no later than <br />30 days following the date of the test. <br />X24} Section 10.305 of the Uniform Fire Code is amended by amend- <br />i ng subparagraph td} thereof to read: <br />~d} Standards. Fire-extinguishing systems shal] comply with <br />U.B.C. Standards Nos. 38-1 and 38-2. To the extent U.B.C. Standards <br />Nos. 38-1 and 38-2 do not provide standards, NFPA Standard No. 13, <br />1986 Edition, shall apply. <br />EXCEPTION: Automatic sprinkler systems may be connected <br />to the domestic water supply main when approved by the chief, <br />provided the domestic water supply is of adequate pressure, <br />capacity and sizing for the combined domestic and sprinkler <br />requirements. In such case, the sprinkler system connection <br />shall be made between the public water main or meter and the <br />bui 1 di ng shutoff vai ve, and there shal 1 not be intervening <br />valves or connections. The fire department connection may be <br />omitted when approved by the chief. <br />X25} Section 10.306 of the Uniform Fire Code is amended to read: <br />Section 10.306. Automatic Fire Extin uishin S stems - where Re- <br />uired. The bui 1 di ng code sections applicable to automatic fire exti ngui sh- <br />i ng systems shat 1 govern, except standard automatic fire extinguishing sys- <br />tems shall be installed and maintained in an existing or new building which <br />has no access to a publ i c street except by way of a pedestri an mal 1 ar to <br />which access by fire fighting equipment i s restricted by one or mare struc- <br />tures or amenities in a public street or right-of-way. In the event the <br />access restrictions are constructed after the bui 1 di ng has been erected, <br />this requirement shall not apply for a period of one year after the comple- <br />tion of those restrictions. <br />X26} Section 10.309 of the Uniform Fire Code is amended by adding <br />a new subparagraph ~f} thereto, to read: <br />~f} Combination Stand i e 5 stem. <br />~1} Size.
