Section 2. The City does hereby ratify, affirm and approve of the terms <br />of the Purchase Agreement with Seattle Northwest Securities Corporation and <br />Shearson Lehman Hutton for the 1989 Refunding Certificates, a copy of which is <br />attached hereto as Exhibit "A~' and incorporated herein, <br />Section 3. All other terms and provisions of Ordinance No, 19627 sha11 <br />continue in full force and effect. <br />Section 4. The City Council does hereby determine that it is necessary <br />far this Ordnance to be effective immediately to close the sale of the 1989 <br />Refunding Certificates in accordance with the bid of the purchaser, and that <br />by reason thereof an emergency is hereby declared to exist, and this Ordinance <br />shall be in full force and effect immediately upon passage by the council and <br />approval by the Mayor. <br />Passed by the City Council this <br />~" day of August, 1989. <br />Approved by the Mayor this <br />,~ day of August, 1959. <br />/ / G`"~_~ <br />City Recorder <br /> I' <br />M or <br />
