ORDINANCE NO. ~~l~o~~ <br />AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR WITHDRAWAL <br />FROM THE RIVER ROAD WATER DISTRICT AND . <br />RIVER ROAD PARK AND RECREATION DISTRICT <br />THAT PART OF THE DISTRICTS ANNEXED TO THE <br />CITY OF EUGENE BY THE LANE COUNTY LOCAL <br />GOVERNMENT BOUNDARY COMMISSION ON AUGUST <br />4, 1989 SHALL/MOORE, C EU 89-o8j. <br />The City Council of the City of Eugene by Resolution <br />No. 4147 adopted September ~5, 1989, proposed withdrawal from <br />the River Road Water District and the River Road Park and <br />Recreation District of that part of the District annexed to <br />the City on August 4, 1989 by Final Order No. 914 of the Lane <br />County Local Government Boundary Commission, as hereinafter <br />described. <br />The Resolution set October 23, 1959 at 7:34 p.m. , <br />Pacific Time, in the Council Chambers, City Hall, in Eugene, <br />Oregon, as the time and place for hearing objections to the <br />withdrawal, and directed that notice of the time and place of <br />the hearing be published once each week far two consecutive <br />weeks prior to the hearing and be posted in four public <br />places in the City for the same period. <br />The Native has been so published in the Register Guard <br />and posted in four public places in the City of Eugene, <br />Cregan. <br />The City is willing to assume the liabilities and <br />indebtednesses previously contracted by the Districts propor- <br />tionate to the part of the Districts that have been annexed <br />to the City upon the effective date of the withdrawal. <br />ordinance - l <br />
