r ~'r <br />ORDINANCE NO. ~`~~3' ` <br />AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR WITHDRAWAL <br />FROM THE RIVER ROAD WATER DISTRICT AND <br />RIVER ROAD PARK AND REGREATI4N DISTRICT, <br />THAT PART of THE DISTRICTS ANNEXED To THE <br />CITY OF EUGENE BY THE LANE COUNTY LQCAL <br />GOVERNMENT BOUNDARY COMMISSION ON JULY <br />~a~ 1989 ~A-RNDLD, EC EU 89~1~ . <br />The City Council of the City of Eugene by Resolution <br />No. 4145 adopted September 25, 1989, proposed withdrawal from <br />the River Road Water District and the River Raad Park and <br />Recreation District of that part of the District annexed to <br />the City on July 25, 1989 by Notice of the Lane County Local <br />Government Boundary Commission, as hereinafter described. <br />The Resolution set October 23, 1989 at 7:34 p.m.. <br />Pacific Time, in the Council Chambers, City Hall, in Eugene, <br />Oregon, as the time and place for hearing objections to the <br />withdrawal, and directed that notice of the time and place of <br />the hearing be published once each week for two consecutive <br />weeks prior to the hearing and be posted in four public <br />places in the City for the same period. <br />The Notice has been so published in the Register Guard <br />and posted in four public places in the City of Eugene, <br />Oregon. <br />The City is willing to assume the liabilities and <br />indebtednesses previously contracted by the Districts propor- <br />tionate to the part of the Districts that have been annexed <br />to the City upon the effective date of the withdrawal. <br />The withdrawal of the annexed territory from the <br />Ordinance - 1 <br />
