ORDINANCE NO. ~! ~O ~~ <br />AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR WITHDRAWAL <br />. FROM THE RIVER ROAD WATER DISTRICT AND <br />RIVER ROAD PARK AND RECREATIQN DISTRICT, <br />THAT PART aF THE DISTRICTS ANNEXED To THE <br />CITY of EUGENE BY THE LANE COUNTY LOCAL <br />GOVERNMENT BOUNDARY CQMMISSION oN AUGUST <br />22, 1989 BROWN, EC EU 89-23~. <br />The City Council of the City of Eugene by Resolution <br />No. 4146 adapted September 25, 1989, proposed withdrawal from <br />the River Road water District and the River Rvad Park and <br />Recreation District of that part of the District annexed to <br />the City on August 22, 1989 by Notice of the Lane County <br />Local Government Boundary Commission, as hereinafter <br />described. <br />The Resolution set October 23, 1989 at 7:34 p.m., <br />Pacific Time, in the Council Chambers, City Hall, in Eugene, <br />Oregon, as the time and place for hearing objections to the <br />withdrawal, and directed that notice of the time and place of <br />the hearing be published once each week for two consecutive <br />weeks prior to the hearing and be posted in four public <br />places in the City for the same period. <br />The Notice has been so published in the Register Guard <br />and posted in four public places in the City of Eugene, <br />Oregon. <br />The City is willing to assume the liabilities and <br />indebtednesses previously contracted by the Districts propor- <br />donate to the part of the Districts that have been annexed <br />to the City upon the effective date of the withdrawal. <br />ordinance - l <br />
