<br /> <br /> <br />8) Eugene’s Ridgeline Trail offers 1300 Acres of Hiking and Biking Close to Home <br />Situated along the Willamette River between the Oregon Coast and the Cascade <br />Mountain Range, Eugene is framed by the forested Ridgeline Trail System home to over <br />14 miles of hiking, biking and running trails. This much-loved outdoor haven winds its way <br />through diverse habitats including old growth Douglas fir forest, white oak savannah, <br />ponderosa pine woodlands, and abundant native wildflowers and grasses. Lining both sides of the <br />Willamette River, the Ruth Bascom Riverbank Path System serves as a vital connection <br />for daily living and winds its way through destinations such as the Whilamut Natural Area, <br />RiverPlay Discovery Village Playground, Cuthbert Amphitheater, Owen Rose Garden, <br />and the Delta Ponds Natural Area.
