Downtown Commission will be able to continue to provide FR E parking for patrons of the Downtown area. The cost for providing this service is paid partly by taxation on property owners within the Downtown Development District boundaries and is not supported by taxes outside these boundaries. If this Measure is approved, all of the tax will be financed by District taxpayers without any partial payment by the State. Section 3. This Measure shall become effective July , . Section Z. The proposed Measure shall be placed upon the official ballot by the City Recorder. There shall be furnished to the County Clerk for Lane County certified copies of the ballot title for the Measure, The City Attorney shall prepare and the City Recorder shall furnish the ballot title for the Measure and direct that the County Clerk for Lane County place the Measure upon the ballot to be used at the special city election to be held on March ~~, 1985, to be voted upon by the electors of the City. Section 3 . The necessary poll books ~ ballot boxes ~ tally sheets and other such supplies for each precinct as are necessary for the carrying on of the election shall be f urnished by the County Clerk far Lane County, and the supplies shall be delivered to the Election Board. Section 4. The City Council hereby orders that the election shall be held concurrently with the special election on March 2G, 1985 and hereby designates as the palling places for the election in the C ity of Eugene the polling places established and designated for the special election, and the City Council does hereby appoint the Clerks appointed to serve at that special 2 ~ Ordinance
