election to serve in each of the polling places for the City <br />election. <br />Section 5. The polls shall be open in each of the voting <br />precincts at 5:00 o'clock a.m., Pacific Standard Time, and shall <br />be kept open until 8:00 0' clack p.m. , Pacific Standard Time, <br />on electian day. <br />Section b. The Clerk acting as chairperson of the Election <br />Board in the special election shall be chairperson of the same <br />Board of which he or she is a member in the City electian, and <br />the ballots shall be counted and tabulated and the results certified <br />as provided by law. <br />Section 7. The City Recorder is directed to give not less <br />than ten days notice of the election by publication of one notice <br />thereof in the Eugene Register Guard, a newspaper published <br />in the City and of general circulation therein. <br />Section 8.
