Qrdinance ..~, ~a <br />.. ~ Y I ~ <br />Section 4D, Section 9.848 of the Eugene Code, 1971, is hereby amended <br />to read and provide: <br />9.$08 Mobile Home Parks - Recreational Vehicle Use. <br />~1} Recreational vehicles may be used as living quarters in <br />mobile home parks in the following situations: <br />~a} With conditional use permit approval for specified <br />spaces in mobile home parks provided occupancy does nat exceed 14 <br />consecutive nights. <br />fib} Tn mobile home parks constructed before January 1, 1967, <br />with frontage on U.S. Highway 99 North, Jest 6th or hest 7th Ave- <br />nues, provided the recreational vehicles so occupied are trailers: <br />1. Qf at least 22a square feet of floor area, <br />2. That bear a state recreational vehicle insignia, <br />3. That are not designed to be operated by se1f- <br />contained motive power, <br />4. That are connected to compatible utility facilities, <br />and, <br />5, That are located in spaces adequately separated from <br />other spaces to reduce the risk of fire spreading from one <br />unit to another, as well as to provide for light, air, and <br />circulation between units. <br />The definition of "recreational vehicle" in section 9.015 does not <br />apply to this subsection. <br />~2} Nothing contained herein shall prevent the parking of an <br />unoccupied recreational vehicle not in daily use on the owner's property, <br />except, the vehicle may not be parked in the required front yard setback for <br />more than 4S hours. <br />Section 41. Subsection ~3} of Section 9.810 of the Eugene Cade, 1971, <br />is hereby amended to read and provide: <br />9.810 Mobile Home Parks - General Provisions. <br />t3} Maximum density. Eight l ots per acre, <br />Section 42. Tn the event there are any references in the Eugene Code, <br />1971 to "RG District" or Section 9.54 of the Eugene Code, 1971 not amended <br />herein, the City Recorder is authorized to administratively change those <br />references to "R-3 District" and "Section 9.015" respectively, upon first <br />receiving the concurrence of the Planning Department and City Attorneys <br />office. <br />
