Section 9.258 of the Eu ene Code 1971 • <br />9 ~s amended by adding <br />a new subsection ~f} thereto, to read and provide: <br />9.28 <br />~f~ CAS commercial air ort safety sub•~di strict. <br />1. Pur ose. The commercial airport safet sub-distric <br />affects lands ad'acent to a y t <br />~ nd w~th~n the Mahlon Sweet Field <br />Airport. This sub-district is intended to: <br />a. Prevent the creation or establishment of obstruc- <br />tions that are a hazard to air navigation and fli hts <br />and, g <br />b. Prevent the creation or establishment of other <br />hazards to air navigat~an and flight such as distract' <br />light and glare roducin surface Ong <br />P g s, radio interference, <br />smoke, steam or dust, areas which attract birds and <br />hazards of a similar nature. <br />-' 2 • A~p,pl i cabi 1 i ty. Use limitations. In the commercial air ort safet <br />sub-district, the followin 1im' P y <br />g ~tat~ons and standards apply <br />to all uses permitted outright or conditionall in the d' <br />tri cts ta,~~ whi ch the sub-di y ~ s <br />. str~ ct ~ s added. <br />a. The. maximum height. of structures and objects <br />shall normally be the same as t a <br />he districts to which the <br />commercial airport safety sub~•district is added. Naw- <br />ever, na structures, objects, or vegetation shall be <br />erected, altered or permitted to grow or be maintained <br />in such a~manner as to enetrate the ' <br />P heights of the var- <br />ious surfaces described in subparagraph 4 below. <br />b. No use shall create electrical interfer <br />with navigational si nals or radio ence <br />9 communication between <br />the airport and aircraft, make it difficult for ' <br />to distinguish pi 1 ots <br />between airport lights and others, result <br />in glare in the eyes of plots using the air or ' <br />. visibility in the vicinit of P t, ~mpa~r <br />y the airport, or otherwise <br />in any way endanger the landing, take off or maneu e - <br />yr <br />Ordinance - 1 . <br />
