~4} Maintenance of Service. <br />~a} Grantee shall maintain a repair and troubleshooting force <br />capable of responding to subscriber camp1 ai nts wi thi n ~ working days after <br />receipt of the complaint, other than as may be due to circumstances beyond the <br />reasonable control of the Grantee. No charge shall be made to the subscriber <br />for maintenance of Grantee`s system unless the subscriber has negligently or <br />intentionally caused the damage. Amended by Ordinance No, X9359, ~0/~4/S5.} <br />fib} Grantee shall put, keep, and maintain all parts of the <br />cable communications system in good condition throughout the entire period of <br />this permit. <br />~c} The Grantee shall render efficient service, make repairs <br />promptly, and interrupt service only for good cause and for the shortest time <br />possible. Such interruptions, i nsofar as possible, shat l be preceded by <br />notice and shall occur during periods of minimum use of the system. <br />~d} In the event that a subscriber complaint is not resolved <br />to the mutual satisfaction of the subscriber and the Grantee, either the sub- <br />scriber or the Grantee may request that the matter be presented to the com- <br />missi on for final resolution by the commission or its designee. <br />fie} 4~hen there have been similar complaints made or where <br />there exists other evidence, which in the judgment of the commission casts <br />doubt on the reliability or quality of cable service, the commission shall <br />have the right and authority to compel the Grantee to test, analyze, and re- <br />port on the performance of the system. Such test or tests shall be made, and <br />the reports of such test or tests shall be delivered to the commission, <br />within ~4 days after the same have been requested by the commission. Such <br />reports} shall include the following information; the nature of the com- <br />plaint s} which precipitated the special tests, the system components} test- <br />ed and the equipment used and procedures employed in said testing, the re- <br />sults of such tests, and the method in which such complaints were resolved. <br />Ordinance - Z2 <br />
