Project Name: Screw Pump Station Expansion <br />Description: Add 5th pump to increase capacity from 84 to 99 mgd. <br /> <br />Justification: New pump is required to increase total influent pumping capacity to 277 <br /> mgd. <br /> <br />Project Driver: Systematic elimination of sanitary sewer overflows by the year 2010. <br /> <br />Project Trigger: Collection system computer model estimates the current wet weather <br /> peak flow to plant to be 264 mgd. Overall existing peak flow capacity is <br /> 175 mgd so there is already a capacity deficit. <br /> <br />Type of Project 100% Capacity <br /> <br />Estimated Project Cost $1,700,000 <br />(2004 Dollars): <br /> <br />Phasing: Budgeted for FY2005/06 <br /> <br />Project Name: Wilakenzie Pump Station Expansion <br />Description: Add four, 14-mgd pumps to increase capacity from 80 to 135 mgd. <br /> <br />Justification: Additional pumping capacity is required to increase total influent pumping <br /> capacity to 277 mgd. <br /> <br />Project Driver: Systematic elimination of sanitary sewer overflows by the year 2010. <br /> <br />Project Trigger: Collection system computer model estimates the current wet weather <br /> peak flow to plant to be 264 mgd.
