The first sheet of each set of <br />plans shall state the building and street address of the work and <br />the names and addresses of the owner of the land or building where <br />the work is to be done and of the person who prepared the plans. <br />In lieu of detailed specifications, the building official may <br />approve references on the plans to a specific section or part of <br />the structural specialty code or to other ordinances ar laws. Com- <br />putations, stress diagrams, and other data sufficient to show the <br />correctness of the plans shall be submitted when required by the <br />building official , <br />I. Structural Plans, Every person making application <br />for work involving a structural permit shall file with the <br />building division proper zoning information and structural <br />plans and calculations as may be necessary to determine <br />whether the proposed work, including, but not limited to, <br />additions, general alterations, and change of use group clas- <br />sifications conforms to land use regulations and the struc- <br />tural specialty code. The plans and specifications must be <br />complete and shall show, among other details, the following: <br />~. Scaled plat plan showing the location of all <br />new construction and all existing structures on the <br />site, including parking areas and drives, dimensions of <br />lot and buildings, and distance from lot lines, drawn <br />in accordance with an accurate boundary line survey. <br />B. Scaled floor plans showing the structure's <br />layout brooms}, room dimensions, and areas labeled as <br />to intended use, location, and sizes of doors and <br />windows. <br />C. Structural plans showing framing and other <br />support and laad~-carying structural features, including <br />foundation plan, floor and ceiling roof system construc- <br />tion with adequate dimensions and labeling of materials <br />to permit a determination of code compliance and struc- <br />tural safety. <br />D. Plans for buildings of more than two stories <br />in height of other than Group R, Division 3 bane- and <br />twa~-family dwellings} and M occupancies accessary <br />buildings thereto} shall indicate how required structural <br />and fire-resistive integrity will be maintained where a <br />penetration will be made for electrical, mechanical, <br />plumbing, communication conduits, pipes and similar <br />systems . <br />2. Electrical Plans. A person making application for <br />an electrical permit on any structure, other than Group R, <br />Division 3 bane- and two-family dwellings} and M occupancies <br />accessory buildings thereto}, shall file with the building <br />division proper electrical p1 ans, specifications, cal cul a- <br />tions, and schedules as may be necessary to determine whether <br />the installation as described will conform to the requirements <br />of the electrical code.
