Section 8.075 of the Eugene Code, 1971, is amended to read <br />and provide: <br />8.075 Electrical S eci a1 ty Code . <br />~1} As amended by this section, the Oregon Electrical Safety Spe- <br />cialty Code has adopted by the State of Oregon Department of Commerce pursu- <br />ant to ORS 456.750 to ORS 456.885} as now enacted is hereby adopted and vio- <br />lation thereof shall constitute an offense against the city. Copies of the <br />code sha11 be filed in triplicate in the office of the city recorder. <br />~2} Chapters 2 and 3 of the Oregon Electrical Safety Specialty <br />Code are not enacted. <br />~3} when a term listed in section 103 of the electrical code is <br />defined differently in section 8.401 of the Eugene Cade, 1971, the definition <br />in section 8.001 shall be used unless the context in which the term is used <br />clearly requires use of the section 103 definition. <br />Section ?. Sections 8.080 and 8.135 of the Eugene Code, 1911, are <br />hereby repealed. <br />Section 8. Section $.495 of the Eugene Code, 1971, is amended to read <br />and provide: <br />8.495 Mechanical Specialty Code. <br />~1} As amended by this section the aregon State Mechanical Speci- <br />alty Code and Mechanical Fire and Life Safety Code has adopted by the. State <br />of Oregon Department of Commerce pursuant to OR5 456.750 to ORS 456.8$5} as <br />now enacted or hereafter amended are hereby adapted and violation thereof <br />shall constitute an offense against the city. Copies of the code shall be <br />filed in triplicate in the office of the city recorder. <br />~~} Chapters 1, ~ and 3 of the Oregon State Mechanical Specialty <br />Code and Mechanical Fire and Life Safety Cade are not enacted. <br />~3} When a term listed in Chapter 4 of the Mechanical Code is <br />defined differently in section 8.001 of the Eugene Code, 1971, the definition <br />in section 8.001 shall be used unless the context in which the term is used <br />clearly requires the use of the Chapter 4 definition. <br />Section 9.
