~ ~ t <br />ORDINANCE N0. ~ q <br />AN ORDINANCE CONCERNING ASSESSMENTS FOR PAVING AND STORM SEWERS IN <br />ALLEY BETWEEN PATTERSON STREET AND HILYARD STREET FROM 22ND AVENUE TO <br />23RD AVENUE; AMENDING ORDINANCE NUMBER 19345, AND DECLARING AN <br />EMERGENCY. <br />The City Council of the City of Eugene finds that: <br />On August l2, 1985, there was passed by the Council and approved by the <br />Mayor, Ordinance Number 19345, levying an estimated assessment against the <br />properties lasted on the Assessment Roll attached thereto for paving and storm <br />sewers an alley between Patterson Street and Hilyard Street from 22nd Avenue to <br />23rd Avenue. <br />Final costs of the project have been calculated, and pursuant to the <br />provisisans of Section 7.240 of the Eugene Code, 1971, the assessment roll <br />attached to Ordinance Number 19345 should be amended to reflect the reduced <br />assessments far the assessment accounts. <br />THE CITY OF EUGENE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. Pursuant to the provisions of Section 7,240 of the Eugene <br />Code, 1911, Ordinance Number 19345 passed by the Council and approved by the <br />Mayor on August 12, 19$5, is hereby amended by correcting the Assessment Roll <br />attached hereto to reflect the reduced assessments for the remaining accounts <br />listed thereon. <br />Section 2. The finance officer is directed to make the above corrections <br />to the docket of city liens and to send a corrected notice of assessment to the <br />property owners set forth in Section 1 above. <br />Section 3. Except as herein specifically amended, all other provisions of <br />Ordinance Number 19345 and the assessments provided for therein remain in full <br />farce and effect. <br />Section _4.
