L G ~ ~q <br />AN ORDINANCE CONCERNING ASSESSMENTS FOR PAVING AND STORM SEWERS ON SAM <br />R STREET FROM 11TH AVENUE TO 12TH ,AVENUE; AND ON 12TH AVENUE FROM SAM <br />R STREET TO WALLIS STREET; AND ON WALLIS STREET FROM 12TH AVENUE TO <br />900 FEET SOUTH; AMENDING ORDINANCE N0. 19167, AND DECLARING AN <br />EMERGENCY. <br />The City Council of the City of Eugene finds that: <br />On July 25, 1983, there was passed by the Council and approved by the <br />Mayor, Ordinance No. 19167, levying an estimated assessment against the <br />properties listed on the Assessment Roll attached thereto for paving and storm <br />sewers on Sam R Street from 11th Avenue to 12th Avenue; and on 12th Avenue from <br />Sam R Street to Wallis Street; and on Wallis Street from 12th Avenue to 900 <br />feet south. <br />Final costs of the project have been calculated, and pursuant to the <br />pravisisons of Section 7.240 of the Eugene Code, 1971, the assessment roll <br />attached to Ordinance No. 19167 should be amended to reflect the reduced <br />assessments far the assessment accounts. <br />THE CITY OF EUGENE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS. <br />Section ~.. Pursuant to the provisions of Section 7,240 of the Eugene <br />Code, 1971, Ordinance No. 19167 passed by the Council and approved by the Mayor <br />on July 2S, 1983, is hereby amended by correcting the Assessment Roll attached <br />hereto to reflect the reduced assessments for the remaining accounts listed <br />thereon. <br />Section 2. The finance officer is directed to make the above corrections <br />to the docket of city liens and to send a corrected notice of assessment to the <br />property owners set Earth in Section 1 above. <br />Section 3. Except as herein specifically amended, all other provisions of <br />Ordinance No. ].9167 and the assessments provided far therein remain in full <br />force and effect. <br />Section 4.
