ORDINANCE N0. ~f'j~,s"D <br />AN~ ORDINANCE ADOPTING AMENDMENTS T~ THE EUGENE-SPRINGFIELD <br />METROPOLxTAN AREA GENERAL PLAN PERTAINING TG NON.-CONTIGUOUS <br />ANNEXATIONS. <br />The City Council of the City of Eugene finds as follows: <br />~. The Eugene-Springfield Metropolitan Area General Plan Metro Plan <br />was adopted by the Eugene City Council on July 2$, 198, and amendments <br />thereto were subsequently adopted on February 8, 1982, by Eugene Ordinance <br />No. 18921; on Febuuary 15, 1984 by Eugene Ordinance No. 19229; on October 22 <br />1984, by. Eugene Ordinance No. 19293, on July 17, 1985, by Eu ene Ordinance <br />No. 19341• an se tember g <br />p 9, 1985, by Eugene Ordnance 19345; on April 23, <br />1985, by Eugene Ordinance No, 19382; on April 28, 1985, by Eu ene Ordinance <br />Nos. 193$3 and 19385• on Au u g <br />g st 11, 1986, by Eugene Ordnance No. 19395; an <br />August 13, 1986, by Eugene Ordnance No. 19398; and on January 12 1981 b <br />Eugene Ordinance No. 19443. y <br />2. On January 12, 19$7, the Eugene Planning Commission recommended to <br />the City Council the adoption of the amendments set forth below ertainin <br />p 9 <br />to non-contiguous annexations. <br />3. The City Council held a public hearing on March 9, 1987, and <br />approved the amendments to the Metro Plan set forth below. <br />__ 4, Findings in support of the adoption of these amendments to the <br />Metro Plan are set forth in Exhibit A attached hereto and incor orated herein <br />P <br />by reference . <br />5, Based an the above record and findings, the City Council concludes <br />that the Metro Plan amendments set forth below are consistent with the Land <br />Conservation and Development Cammission statewide land use p1annin pals <br />with the unamended ortion of the 9 g ' <br />p Eugene-Springfield Metropolitan Area Gen- <br />eral Plan, and with other applicable City plans and policies. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, <br />THE CITY OF EUGENE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS; <br />Section 1, The findings set forth above are adopted with the findin s <br />contained in the amendments and in the on ~ g <br />ginal Metro Plan which are incor- <br />porated herein by reference. <br />Section 2. Chapter II, Section B of the Metro Plan is amended to re- <br />vise Growth Management and the Urban service Area Element Policy 11 to read <br />and provide as follows: <br />Ordinance - 1 <br />
