ORDINANCE No. 19455 <br />An Ordinance initiating the vacation of the following des- <br />cr ibed pedestrian right-of-way, to-wit ; <br />The pedestrian right-of-way located East of <br />Solar Heights Street, West of Willamette <br />Street, and North of 52nd Avenue, Solar <br />Heights PUD In Eugene, Lane County, Oregon. <br />White, Sv 87--1 ~ <br />THE CITY OF EUGENE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. The City Council of the City of Eugene herein <br />initiates the vacation proceedings vn its own authority without <br />petition or consent of the property owners, exce t as rovided b <br />p p y <br />statute, of the above described pedestrian right-of -way. <br />Section ~. A hear ing shall be held upon the proposal to <br />vacate the pedestrian right--of-way as herea.n provided, and the <br />hearing shall be held on the 13th day of April, 1987 at 7:30 p.m., <br />Pacific Standard Time at the Counc i1 Chambers at C .ity Hall, <br />Eugene, Oregon, at which time all persons will be heard upon <br />objections or suggestions with regard to the vacation, and at said <br />time the Counc i1 will provide f.or the vacat ion or deny such vaca- <br />tion, and in case the vacation is made, will. provide and make <br />provision for any damages sustained by local assessment. <br />S~ectian 3. The City Recorder is hereby directed to immedi- <br />ately publish once each week for four consecutive weeks in a <br />newspaper published in Eugene, Lane County, nregon, notice of the <br />proposed vacation. The notice shall give a description of the <br />area to be vacated as herein set out;,state the date when this <br />Ordinance was passed, the name of. any petitioners petitioning for <br />the vacation, and the date when the petition, together with any <br />ordinance - 1 <br />
