I ~'~ ~ 3 <br />AN ORDINANCE CONCERNING ASSE55MENTS FOR PAVING AND SANITARY <br />' SEWERS ON ROOSEVELT BOULEVARD FROM BERTELSEN ROAD TO MAPLE <br />STREET; AMENDING ORDINANCE ND. 19297, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />.The. City Council of the City of Eugene finds that: <br />On November 19, 1984, there was passed by the Council and approved by the <br />Mayan, Ordinance No. 19297, levying an estimated assessment against the <br />properties listed an the Assessment Ro11 attached thereto far paving and <br />sanitary sewers on Roosevelt Boulevard from Bertelsen Road to Maple Street. <br />Final costs of the project have been calculated, and pursuant to the <br />' provisions of Section.1.240 of the Eugene Code, 1971, the assessment roll <br />attached to Ordinance Na. 19297 should be amended to reflect the reduced <br />assessments for the assessment accounts. <br />THE CITY OF EUGENE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLQWS: <br />Section 1. Pursuant to the provisions of Section 7.240 of the Eugene <br />Code, 1971, Ordinance No. 19297 passed by the Council and approved by the Mayor <br />on November l9, 1984, is hereby amended by correcting the Assessment Roll <br />attached hereto to reflect the reduced assessments for the remaining accounts <br />listed thereon. <br />Section 2. The finance officer is directed to make the above corrections <br />to the docket of city liens and to send a corrected notice of assessment to the <br />property owners set forth in Section 1 above. <br />Section 3. Except as herein specifically amended, all other provisions of <br />Ordinance No. 19297 and the assessments provided for therein remain in full <br />force and effect. <br />Section 4. It is necessary that the above carrectians be made as soon as <br />possible, and therefore, an emergency is hereby declared to exist, and this <br />Ordinance shall be effective immediately upon its passage by the City Council <br />and approval by the Mayor. <br />Passed by the City Council this <br />~d y of .~y_- , 1987, <br />ty Recorder <br />Approved by the Mayor this <br />l ay of ~ 1987. <br />or <br />
