ORDINANCE N4 , i 95 0 7 <br />AN ORDINANCE REGARDING ENFORCEMENT CF SOLAR <br />ACCESS REGULATIONS; AMENDING ORDINANCES NOS, <br />19400, 19401, AND 19402; REPEALING ORDINANCE <br />NO. 19490; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />The City Council of the City of Eugene finds that: <br />on two previous occasions the Council has amended the effec- <br />tive date in Ordinance Nos, 19400, 19401, and 19402 with res ect <br />P <br />to enforcement of the solar access regulations provided far there- <br />in. <br />Ordinance No. 19490, passed by the Council and ap raved b <br />P Y <br />the Mayor on July 8, 1987 amended the effective date provisions in <br />ordinance Nos. 19400, 19401, and 19402 to provide that the Cit <br />Y <br />Building Official need not consider or apply the solar setback <br />requirements of those ordinances when issuing buildin ermits <br />g p <br />until October 1, 1987. <br />The Council has determined that further review and evaluation <br />of these solar setback requirements is necessary and desirable <br />and it would be in the public interest to defer their enforcement <br />until that review is completed, Now, therefore, <br />THE CITY OF EUGENE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. ordinance No. 19494 passed by the Council and <br />approved by the Mayor on July 8, 1987 is repealed. <br />Section 2. Section 25 of Ordinance No, 19400, passed b the <br />Y <br />Council and approved by the Mayor on August 13, 198 is amended to <br />read and provide: <br />Section,,,_25, Effective Date.
