~2} Except for the initial term of one of the two commission mem- <br />bers recommended by the Board of County Commissioners which shall be for <br />three years, the term of office of each member, other than an ex officio mem- <br />ber, shall be for faun years unless that tenure shall expire by reason of <br />death, resignation, inability to serve or by removal by the commission or the <br />council. .Any vacancy in the membership of the commission shall be filled for <br />the unexpired term in the same manner as the original appointment. <br />Section 3. That the matters contained herein concern the public welfare, <br />and in order to insure the orderly implementation of these provisions, an <br />emergency is hereby declared to exist, and this ordinance shall become effec- <br />tive immediately upon its passage by the City Council and approval by the <br />Mayor. <br />Passed by the City Council this Approved by the Mayor this <br />9th day of December, 1987 <br />r <br />City Reco er <br />Ordinance - 2 <br />
