2.636 Eu ene Cultural Affairs Commission - Officers, Meetin s Rules and <br />Procedure. <br />. .~1} The officers of the commission shall be a president and a <br />vice-president elected by the members of the commission, Initial officers <br />shall serve for terms of three years or until a successor is appointed or <br />elected for the office. Subsequent officers shall serve for terms of two <br />years, or until a successor is appointed yr elected for the office. The <br />president shall preside aver meetings of the commission and shall have the <br />right to vote, The vice-president shall perform the duties of the president <br />~n the absence or disability of the president. <br />~~} The commission shall hold regular meetings at least once a <br />month, and at such other times as may be necessary to properly perform its <br />duties. <br />. ~3} The term of a commission member who fails to attend two <br />consecutive regular meetings shall automatically be terminated unless his or <br />her absence has been excused by the president or by vote of the commission. <br />~4} The commission shall adopt a plan of internal organization <br />and rules of procedure necessary for the conduct of its business, consistent <br />with state law, the charter, code, ordinances and resolutions of the cit <br />which shall be submitte ~ ~y' <br />d to the council and become effective upon council <br />approval thereof., Meetings and other activities of the commission, its <br />officers and committees, shall conform to the rules, state statutes, charter <br />prov~s~ons, code, ordinances and resolutions of the city. <br />Section 3. The City Recorder, at the request of or with the concurrence <br />of the City Attorney, is authorized to administratively correct an reference <br />y <br />errors contained herein or in other sections of the Eugene Cade, 197 to pro- <br />visions amended or referred to herein. <br />Section 4.
