ORDINANCE NO. ~ S 31 <br />AN ORDINANCE LEVYING ASSESSMENTS FOR PAVING <br />OF ROYAL AVENUE FROM 600 FEET WEST OF <br />CANDLELIGHT DRIVE TO TERRY STREET; AMENDING <br />THE ASSESSMENT ROLL ATTACHED TO ORDINANCE N0. <br />19521; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />The City Council of the City of Eugene finds that: <br />0n November 16, 1987, ordinance No. 19521 was passed by the <br />Council and approved by the Mayor, levying assessments against <br />the properties listed on the Assessment Roll attached thereto for <br />paving Royal Avenue from~~600 feet West of Candlelight Drive to <br />Terry Street. <br />Included in the Assessment Roll attached to Ordinance No. <br />19521 was an assessment in the amount of $8,013.92 designated as <br />account number 8b0007-0120. Notice thereof was provided the <br />presumed owners of record, Stanley L. Davis and Nancy M. Davis <br />Thompson. <br />Subsequent to the adoption of Ordinance No. 19521, the <br />finance officer has been advised that the subject property was <br />divided into two separate tax lots, neither of which are in the <br />ownership of Stanley L. Davis and Nancy M. Davis Thompson. The <br />assessment heretofore levied as evidenced by account number <br />86aao7-0120 should be allocated between these two new tax lots, <br />and the Assessment Roll attached to Ordinance No. 19521 amended <br />by deleting account number 8&0007-0120 therefrom and substituting <br />two new accounts therefor. <br />Notice of the assessments and an opportunity to be heard <br />thereon has been provided the owners of the newly created tax <br />Ordinance - 1 <br />
