If any defect bother than Permitted Encumbrances} shall be <br />discovered in the title of the City to the Airport, the City <br />shall promptly cure the same. <br />5.2.3. To Complete Acquisitions and Constructions <br />Promptly. The City will promptly complete the acquisition, <br />purchase, construction, improvement, betterment, extension, <br />addition, reconstruction, restoration, equipping and furnishing <br />of any properties, the casts of which are to be paid from the <br />proceeds of Bonds, from money in the Airport Fund, or from any <br />other money held hereunder. <br />5.2.4. To Keep Airport in Good Repair and to Make <br />Improvements and Betterments Thereto. The City will maintain, <br />preserve, keep and operate, or cause tv be maintained, preserved, <br />kept and operated, the properties constituting the Airport <br />including all additions, improvements and betterments thereto <br />and extensions thereof and every part and parcel thereof} in good <br />and efficient repair, working order and operating condition in <br />conformity with standards customarily followed in the aviation <br />industry for airports of like size and character. The Cit Pram <br />Y <br />moneys lawfully available therefor or made available therefor, <br />will from time to time make all necessary and proper repairs, <br />renewals, replacements and substitutions to said properties, and <br />construct additions and improvements thereto and extensions and <br />betterments thereof which are economically .sound, so that at all <br />times the business carried on in connection therewith shall and <br />can be properly and advantageously conducted in an efficient <br />manner and at reasonable cost. <br />5.2.5. ,To Gperate and Maintain Airport. The City <br />shall operate and maintain the Airport as a revenue-producing <br />enterprise and shall manage the same in the most efficient manner <br />consistent with sound economy and public advantage, and <br />consistent with the protection of the Bondowners. <br />5.2.6. Governmental Approval. The City will <br />perform any constructions, reconstructions and restorations of, <br />improvements, betterments and extensions to, and equippings and <br />furnishings of, and will operate and maintain the Mahlon Sweet <br />Airport at standards required in order that the same may be <br />approved by the proper and competent Federal Government authority <br />or authorities for the landing and taking off of aircraft <br />operating in scheduled service, and as a terminal point of the <br />City for the receipt and dispatch of passengers, property and <br />mail by aircraft. <br />5.2.7. Compliance with Terms of Grants-in-aid; <br />Application Thereof. The City shall comply with the requirements <br />of the Federal Government of grants-in-aid accepted by the <br />City.
