Reader board signs, not over 40 <br />square feet total surface area shall be allowed, provided they are <br />set back a minimum of 15 feet from the street property line. <br />8.655 Residential District. Areas in this sign district are usually <br />designated for residential use in the Metropolitan Area General <br />Plan. The signing allowed reflects the primary residential character of <br />these areas, allowing only small signing for non-residential uses such as <br />small businesses and home occupations. The fallowing signs shall be permit- <br />ted on properties located within areas designated as "Residential District" <br />on the Sign District Map. <br />~ a} General . All signs within res i denti a1 areas shall be <br />subject to the following provisions: <br />1.
