Roofs of storage areas shall be of light-weight construction and suitably insulated. 1. Smoke and Heat Venting. Storage areas shall be pro- vided with means t~o vent~~~smoke and heat in afire or other emergency in accordance with the provisions of the Structural Specialty Code, 8. Secondary containment shall be provided in accordance with the provisions of Section 80.301~1~4. 10. Standb Power. Standby power shall not be required for the storage of Class 1 and 2 oxidizers. 11. Detection. An approved supervised smoke detection system shall be installed in all liquid and solid oxidizer storage areas. Activation of the detection system shall sound a local alarm. EXCEPTION: A smoke detection system shall not be re- quired in detached storage buildings provided with an automatic fire extinguishing system. 12. Stora a Conditions. A. Maximum Quantities.
