Li uid-Ti ht Floor. In addition to the provisions of <br />Section 80.301~z~, floors of storage areas shall be of li uid- <br />q <br />tight canstruction. <br />6. Insulated Royf. Roofs of storage areas shall be of <br />light-weight construction and suitably insulated. <br />1. Smoke and Heat Venting. Storage areas shall be pro- <br />vided with means t~o vent~~~smoke and heat in afire or other <br />emergency in accordance with the provisions of the Structural <br />Specialty Code, <br />8. Ex losion Ventin or Su cession. Explosion venting <br />or suppression shall not be required in storage areas for Class <br />1 and ~ oxidizers. <br />9. Containment. Secondary containment shall be provided <br />in accordance with the provisions of Section 80.301~1~4. <br />10. Standb Power. Standby power shall not be required <br />for the storage of Class 1 and 2 oxidizers. <br />11. Detection. An approved supervised smoke detection <br />system shall be installed in all liquid and solid oxidizer <br />storage areas. Activation of the detection system shall sound <br />a local alarm. <br />EXCEPTION: A smoke detection system shall not be re- <br />quired in detached storage buildings provided with an <br />automatic fire extinguishing system. <br />12. Stora a Conditions. <br />A. Maximum Quantities. Maximum quantities per build- <br />i ng i n detached storage bu i 1 di ngs steal 1 be as specified <br />~n Tables 80.306-E through 80.306-H. <br />B. Storage Arran,~ement.
