ORDINANCE NO. ~Q~~ <br />AN ORDINANCE APPRavING THE EUGENE COMMUNITY <br />INVESTMENT COMPANY APPLICATIaN FoR MULTIPLE-- <br />UNIT PRpPERTY TAx ExEMPTZQN. <br />The City Council of the City of Eugene finds that: <br />The Eugene Community Investment Company is the owner of real <br />property located at 1001 Washington Street, Eugene, Oregon, and <br />more particularly described as: <br />Tax Lots 9100 and 9500, Assessor's Map 17-43-31-24 <br />and has submitted an application to the Department of Housing and <br />Community Conservation HCC} pursuant to the City `~ s ~~ultiple-Unit <br />Rental Housing Property Tax Exemption Program Sections 2.945 and <br />x.947 of the Eugene Code, 1971} with respect to the improvements <br />to be constructed thereon. <br />eThe application has been reviewed and approved by the Joint <br />housing Committee, the effected neighborhood organization, and <br />appropriate City departments. HCC has reviewed the application <br />and supportive material, and in accordance with the Amended and <br />Restated Standards and Guidelines for Processing Applications for <br />Multiple-Unit Rental Housing Local Property Tax Exemption adapted <br />by Resolution No. 353 on May 27, 1951, has adopted findings and <br />recommended to the Council that the application be approved, sub- <br />ject to certain conditions more specifically set forth herein. <br />The project is an eligible structure as defined in the Stand- <br />ards and Guidelines; is a rental project far the elderly, at <br />rental rates accessible to a broad range of the general public; <br />is located within the project area; and the applicant has agreed <br />to include within the project design elements of benefit to the <br />general public extending beyond the period of exemption, as set <br />forth below. <br />The project is in conformance with all applicable local plans <br />and planning regulations, and the applicant has submitted all <br />materials, documents and fees required by the City and has complied <br />with all the provisions of the City's Standards and Guidelines. <br />Now, therefore, based upon the findings set forth above, and <br />the findings of HCC, which are incorporated herein by reference and <br />adopted by the Council as additional findings, <br />THE CITY of EUGENE DOES ORDAIN AS F4LLQWS: <br />Section 1.
