/qor~ <br />9.542 Interior Yards. <br />~3} Industrial: All lots ar development sites in the <br />I-l, I-2, and I-3 districts shall have no interior yards re- <br />quired where said lots or development sites abut property lines <br />of co~runercially or industrially zoned property. ~~1hen side or <br />rear property lines of said districts are common with property <br />zoned residentially, interior yards shall be at least 24 feet <br />in the I-1 district and at least 1Q feet in I-2, and I-3 dis- <br />tricts when opposite the residential. districts. Required <br />interior yards next to residential district parcels must be <br />planted with year-round, minimum six foot wide, site obscuring <br />vegetation or separated on the property lines from residential <br />parcels by a sight obscuring six to eight feet high durable <br />fence or wall, except the provisions of section 9.544 ~d} shall <br />apply. Storage is prohibited in I-l, 2-2, and I-3 required <br />interior yards next to residential districts when the site <br />obscuring vegetation option above is chosen rather than the <br />fence ar wall option. <br />~4} PL. In addition to solar radiation protection <br />requirements in section 9.534, all buildings and additions <br />constructed after September S, 1982 shall have required inter-- <br />iar yards as follows: <br />PL Building or Addition Height Minimum Required Interior Yards <br />15 feet --~----------------------~ 10 feet <br />Over 15 feet ---------~~---------~-- 15 feet <br />When a required interior yard is used for parking or storage <br />and is next to a residential district parcel occupied by a <br />dwelling, it must be screened with year-round, minimum six <br />foot wide, site obscuring vegetation or separated from the <br />residential parcel by a site obscuring six foot high fence or <br />wall, except the provisions of section 9.544~d} shall apply. <br />Section 28. <br />Subparagraph 3. of subsection fie} of Section 9.544 <br />of the Eugene Code, 1971, is hereby amended to read and provide: <br />9.544 <br />(e) <br />3. In any commercial or industrial district, <br />except C-1 and I-l, parking spaces shall be permitted <br />in any required yards. Provided, however, the re- <br />quired landscape provisions of Section 9.5423} are, <br />adequately complied with. In the I-l district park- <br />ing spaces may be located in required front yards if <br />more than 20 feet from all abutting streets. <br />Section 29. <br />Section 9.546 of the Eugene Code, 1971, is hereby <br />amended by amending Subsection ~1}~.c} thereof, renumbering Subsec- <br />ordinance - 12 <br />
